I enjoyed these nine unique stories of love at first sight. The wonderful characters who came from different walks of life experienced love from diverse perspectives. These stories, Deborah McClatchey wrote are all true to life, love never runs easy it has its ups and down. Love can hurt and it can make you feel beautiful. This author knows how to write romantic love stories. Highly recommended.
I bought the new edition which now has nine short stories on 'love at first sight'. Quite interesting with the different perspectives and memorable characters. Yes, strange things can happen once you've honed in on 'the one'. I can relate a bit on one of the stories…how things can be misconstrued by an outside source; mistrust, misunderstandings, you name it. I enjoyed the anthology and would recommend.
Not my usual cup of tea but I must admit this ended up being a guilty pleasure! Who hasn't fallen in love or wondered about the truth behind 'love at first sight'? So while this is obviously a book for romance readers, almost anyone would enjoy this collection of nine short stories which share a common theme. Great stuff. Well done.
